Government Covid-19 funding for Kingston rises by £1.8M to £11.5 Million

The Conservative government has announced a £1,763,745 increase in the Covid-19 funding for Kingston’s local services. This takes the additional funding for Kingston to £11,.541, 584.

This latest additional support forms part of a wide-ranging package of Government support to help Kingston Council, local groups and charities respond to the pandemic and provide much-needed services for local residents.

This latest cash boost for local services in the Royal Borough of Kingston is part of an ongoing wider national financial package of support. 

Cllr Kevin Davis, the Leader of the Conservative group in Kingston, said:  “This is great news for the residents of Kingston upon Thames. The Conservative government continues to support those in need, as it has done throughout the time that we’ve been fighting this awful pandemic.
