Livingstone's taxes have almost trebled in eight years. Ken Livingstone has increased his share of the Council tax by a massive 153% since he first became Mayor. In 2000 the cost of Ken was £123 to Band 'D' council tax payers. It is likely to be £311 in 2008, an increase of almost £190.
Tony Arbour says: "Labour and the Liberal Democrats have consistently voted against Conservative proposals to cut Ken's taxes. Richmond and Kingston need a Conservative Mayor and Assembly to keep taxes down."
Not only has Livingstone increased the cost of the congestion charge but the central London congestion zone is creeping ever further outward. This is putting increased pressure on roads immediately outside the zone and
