Since 2000 Tony Arbour has been a hard-working member of the London Assembly, standing up for the people of Hounslow, Kingston and Richmond upon Thames.
Tony has:
- Fought to cut political correctness in the police to allow them to catch and punish criminals.
- Supported better public transport, particularly more hospital busses and an extension of the North London Line.
- Led the London Assembly to oppose expansion of Heathrow.
- Campaigned to save the historic view from King Henry's Mound in Richmond Park.
- Battled against over-development and high-rise buildings which would be detrimental to our local environment.
- Opposed extension of the Congestion Charge to West London and around Heathrow

Tony Arbour lives in Teddington, he has four children and a granddaughter.He was Senior Lecturer at Kingston University Business School,attended schools in Richmond and Surbiton,is a member of Hounslow Community Safety Partenership and a Justice of the Peace for South West London.
Tony puts Conservative policies into action;as Leader of Richmond Council he slashed councillors' allowances,froze Council Tax and reduced it from being the highest in London.
His LibDem successors have raised allowances,increased taxes and are at the top of the tax league.
A Conservative Mayor and Assembly,will,like Conservative Councils, ensure taxes are minimised and services are value for money.

Tony is married to Caroline. They have three sons, one daughter, a granddaughter and a goldfish. Tony has lived in the constituency all his life. He went to school in Surbiton, is a Councillor in Richmond upon Thames and is a member of the Hounslow Community Safety Partnership. |
