Geoff Austin

Councillor Geoff Austin

Took early retirement from his post as a Senior Manager with Lambeth Council and was elected as one of Canbury Ward’s Conservative Councillors in 2006.

Geoff and his wife Sheila have lived in Clifton Road for almost twenty years, and they have one son and two grandchildren. Not surprisingly after a career working in Social Services, Geoff’s particular interests are Child Protection and the welfare of the elderly and people with disabilities.

A familiar voice on the Kingston Talking Newspaper for the Blind, and Kingston Hospital Radio, Geoff’s other passion is sport, and after a long playing career he is now an active Rugby Union referee. He also enjoys watching football, and is a Patron of our local football club Kingstonian F.C.

Andrea Craig

Councillor Andrea Craig

Lives in Kings Road is the mother of three young children. Andrea worked in the financial printing industry in the City for 16 years before taking a career break to raise her family.

She has campaigned vigorously for the new North Kingston secondary school and is very concerned about the level of primary school shortages. Her particular interests are environmental issues and youth provision, and she wants improvements in the current recycling system, and would also like to see Kingston Council providing more facilities for children of all ages in our area.

When not busy with her family, Andrea enjoys nothing more than cycling in Richmond Park and supporting the New Zealand Rugby Team.
