Alexandra Ward Representatives

Mike Burden

Councillor Mike Burden

I have lived in the borough of Kingston for pretty much all my life and in Tolworth for the last 4 years. I have been involved in local issues for a number of years and with the help of my Conservative colleagues in Berrylands, Tolworth and Sunray where I campaign to improve the local area and hold the Council to account.

During my career I served for a number of years in the British Army as a Combat Medic. I have worked in management in the private sector and I have worked for the Conservative London Assembly at City Hall. In 2007 I also graduated from Kingston University in 2007 with a law degree and I currently work in Surbiton.

I consider it a privilege to serve as a Councillor for Alexandra ward.

Richard Hudson

Councillor Richard Hudson

Becoming a Councillor is a privilege. I want use that community role to push the Council harder to ensure residents get the best services at the best value for money possible. Most of my work is done on the local planning and Neighbourhood committees. I have worked to ensure that developments are, as far as possible, appropriate and that neighbourhood schemes are in keeping with local needs and demands.

I have experience of sitting on the Scrutiny Committee which examines in detail the actions of the LibDem Executive challenging them and calling them to account.
