Councillors seek your opinion on riverside development

Maria Netley
Conservative councillor Maria Netley wants to hear from you about the future of the riverside.

Conservative-controlled Kingston Council has urged residents to share their views on the Riverside Public Realm Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

The planning document sets out a vision which is intended to transform the riverside and deliver a vibrant, sustainable and ecologically rich riverside environment.

Councillors are asking that residents help improve plans to transform the riverside into a modern and environmentally friendly area.

Kevin Davis

Councillor Kevin Davis, Leader of the Council said:

The River Thames has long been a part of Kingston’s identity and growth. The Riverside Plan will soon reach the consultation stage and I would urge businesses and residents alike to take this opportunity to help improve the plans, and make Kingston a brighter and better borough.
