Surbiton is one of four neighbourhoods set up by the Council to make decisions on issues affecting this area. It consists of four wards, from which the 12 Councillors form the Neighbourhood Committee. There are currently 5 Conservative and 6 Liberal Democrat members on the Committee, although it is chaired by the Lib Dems who have a casting vote.
