Kingston Town is one of four neighbourhoods set up by the Council to make decisions on issues affecting this area. It consists of four wards, from which the 12 Councillors form the Neighbourhood Committee.

There are currently 3 Conservative, 3 Labour and 6 Liberal Democrat members on the Committee. The Conservative held Ward in Kingston Town (Tudor Ward) falls within the boundaries of Richmond Park Conservative Association.
