Beverley Ward Conservatives together with other Conservative Councillors were at the south entrance to the station on Monday 10th August with a petition for the all-party campaign to stop the closure of that entrance.

There has since been a compromise proposal from SWT but we would like to see investment in improving this entrance.
We have also made a formal complaint to London Travel Watch concerning the poor and unclean condition of the station. This has been accepted and London Travel Watch have been assured by SWT that there will be a deep clean by the end of September and daily cleans thereafter. Following the deep clean, there will be a site visit with Mary Clark, the New Malden Station Management and London Travel Watch Public Liaison Officer to agree (or not) that the clean has been carried out satisfactorily.
